Opening the Temple Doors: Read more about Floating Monk going Public

Each new class begins with an introduction, by a Certified Instructor, to the Qigong program you will be learning. The instructor will also play a video clip of Sifu Jeff welcoming you to the class and discussing what you will be learning. Sifu Jeff will also address what you can expect from the class, from regular daily practice, and finally, from yourself.

45 Minute Classes

At the beginning of the class
At the beginning of each class we allow time for questions which may have arisen during personal practice or previous classes, as well as an opportunity for students to share what they are experiencing in their practice.

At the end of the class
We believe in providing a few minutes at the end of each class to allow students the opportunity to share stories, discuss insights, and talk about what they have experienced since beginning Qigong. This time also allows students time to ask any questions, and get answers which can benefit them in their personal practice.

Other Benefits
Another benefit of allowing time for students to share their stories and personal experiences at the beginning and end of each class is that it creates a sense of community, of belonging to something special and a bond between people from all walks of life as they share their experiences with one another.

Four Week Programs
Our programs are structured in four week increments because experience has shown us that it takes a few weeks for students to assimilate the ideas and information, and accurately perform the movement and breathing techniques.

We strongly encourage students to attend classes for at least a few months as this leads to a fuller understanding of the Qigong, and greatly increases the likelihood of proper form and practice. Proper form and practice are the keys to enhancing the flow of Chi and providing an enriching, lifelong Qigong practice.
